We offer a variety of classes that encompass the physical, mental  and spiritual aspects of yoga practice.

Core Strengthening For Yoga

Suitable for all levels. The focus is on developing core strength to enhance our yoga practice and to build strength needed for arm balancing and inversions.

Gentle Yoga

In this class we move mindfully and slowly as we calm the mind, connect to the breath and naturally massage the body through yoga movement.

Hatha For All Levels

During this class we focus on static poses as we align and calm the mind, body and spirit. This class is great for beginners as well as experienced yogis who wish to slow it down a bit.

Myofascial Release, Movement and Meditation

First we prepare the body for meditation through  asana (yoga postures) and/or stretching and myofascial release using the Roll Model Method to release any areas of tension and pain in the body. Then we practice various forms of meditation. No prior meditation experience is necessary. This class is for everyone.

Restorative Yoga

A restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching, doing just a few postures over the course of the class. This is a practice of deep relaxation with the aid of blankets, bolster, blocks and any other props necessary.

Senior Yoga Prep & Stretch

This class is for anyone who has never done yoga but wants to start now. We use straps, poles, blocks, knee supports, weights and anything else needed to aid us into the full expression of the posture. The class focuses on getting the body prepped before moving into yoga postures. Patience with ourselves is required.

Sculpt Yoga

Sculp Yoga includes high-intensity exercises, weight training, and deep stretching. The practice targets and tones every part of the body while providing a full recovery through traditional yoga poses and sequences. This class boosts metabolism and build long, lean muscles. Appropriate for intermediate to advanced yogis.

Slow Flow

We move slowly through the postures building core strength and stability. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment in each pose. Appropriate for beginner and experienced yogis.

Vinyasa

In this class we build heat in the body as we move through a steady continuous flow of yoga asanas. We  connect the mind and the body to the breath with an emphasis on core strength and stabilization. Inversions and inversion prep work are incorporated. Yoga experience is helpful but the opportunity to move at your own pace is available.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a practice that targets deep connective tissues, joints of the body, and fascia, the dense and fibrous tissue that surrounds and holds our internal organs and joints. Because these connective tissues do not stretch as easily as muscles, poses are held for a longer time than in traditional Yoga. Gentle Yin Yoga is less intense than regular Yin Yoga. Practitioners relax in the postures and explore the sensations that arise from the practice

Yogastha Sadhana

A practice for experienced yogis that utilizes fully our physical potential and health while maintaining an adherence to the higher teachings of the Yoga Sutras. This class includes a strong steady flow, headstands, handstands and back bending. It is not necessary to have mastered any or all of these. If you have a willingness to try, this class is for you.
